Code Of Conduct

Shadows Of Defiance Is the home team Of Wastelands Paintball Field and our goals are to promote the team the field and the sport of paintball in a positive manner therefore we have a code of conduct we expect our members to follow.
1) Conduct yourself in a good sportsman like manner ( no overshooting, cheating, etc.)
2) Follow the basic safety rules for your safety and everyone else safety as well.
3) No harassing's other players,  spectators or field staff in any way.
4) No verbal or visual slurs of racial, sexual, religious or any kind will be used.
5) If you have an issue with another player or field staff discuss it with them calmly in private if the issue can't be resolved in that manner then take it to a higher authority.
6) use of physical violence is not to be used with the exception of coming to the aid of someone who is being physically assaulted.
7) Every one is entitled to their own opinion if you are discussing another player field or team in a negative way be sure to make it clear that that is just your opinion. These discussions should be avoided if possible. If you are passing on information about a team, field, or player that is promoting  or engaging in unsafe practices that are harmful to the sport or other players be sure you have your facts straight. One false accusation can leave a lasting mark against them. Someone can do a thousand good things but be accused of one bad thing and the only thing that will be remembered is the bad thing even if it is proven false.
If a member breaks the code of conduct the infraction will be discussed at a team meeting and a vote will be held as to what action will be taken. There are 3 actions that can be taken. 1) Captain has a chat with the member about the infraction, 2) the member is placed on probation. 3) the members membership is revoked.
